Vincent Calip

Vincent Calip is a Professor of AI & Computer Studies at Long Beach City College, where he created the first Associate of Science in AI for Digital Transformation approved in the California Community College system – an ethics-first, no-code/low-code pathway designed to widen access to AI fluency. He is the principal investigator of the LARC LA-25 AI Literacy & Innovation Project, a 19-college collaborative across Los Angeles County, and an MIT Applied Generative AI Fellow.

Vincent holds a doctorate in education from California State University, Long Beach. His work sits at the intersection of education, industry, and civic partnership – aligning resources across sectors so AI becomes a driver of shared economic and social opportunity.
