Requirements
CBA Advantage is required for all students entering in Fall 2020 and beyond. In order to graduate, you will be required to earn a minimum of 2,000 points over four years (prorated for transfer students). Students must complete a minimum of 500 points each year, with at least 100 points per year in each of the five Competency Areas of business knowledge, creative confidence, global citizenship, leadership skills, and moral courage.
Activity Types
Events
Events will include major speakers, workshops, and retreats led by our faculty, premier centers, and Career and Professional Development.
Tasks
Tasks will include things such as writing an article and publishing it on LinkedIn, reflecting on a community service experience, and scheduling a one-on-one coaching appointment with a mentor from the Career and Professional Development.
Common How To's
Log In
Mobile App
- Make sure you have the most updated version of the Suitable app. If you do not, search "Suitable" in your iOS App Store or Google Play Store and download it for free, or click the download button for your type of device at the top of this page. Open the app once it's installed.
- Enter your @lion.lmu.edu email address, and click Continue.
- The LMU portal should be listed. Click Sign In.

- Visit app.suitable.co.
- Enter your @lion.lmu.edu email address and click Continue.

Earn Points
Check out the Activities tab in Suitable. This tab displays all upcoming point-eligible activities. Each activity lists event details as well as a Level and Competency label. The Level and number of Competencies determines how many points an activity is worth; check out the chart below for point totals:

Use the search bar in the Activities tab to look for activities by name, Competency, or keyword. To complete an activity and earn credit, you will need to click the circle on the left side of the activity if you are using the web app, or swipe to the right if you are using the mobile app, and follow the instructions. Tasks will either require a file submission or a reflection – instructions will be clearly marked. To earn credit for attending an event, simply swipe right on the event in your mobile app to open up your camera and scan the QR code to complete. You will know that your scan was successful when you see an Activity Completed message pop up.
Track Achievement Progress
Mobile App
- To see all of the achievements your program has available, navigate to the Achievements tab located on the far left of the bottom toolbar star icon.
- Click into an achievement to view your progress and how many points you have left to earn. You can see the activities you completed that count towards your points requirement in the Completed tab, and all eligible activities to complete for points in the Recommended tab. As you continue to earn points by attending events and completing activities, you will see your progress bar and points value increase.
- Once you reach 100%, the achievement will then be recorded as "Completed" within your Achievements tab.
Web App
- To see all of the achievements your program has available, navigate to the Achievements tab located on the left-hand side toolbar.
- Click into an achievement to view your progress and how many points you have left to earn. You can see the activities you completed that count towards your points requirement in the Completed tab and all eligible activities to complete for points in the Recommended tab. You can also sort eligible activities by Tasks or Events. As you continue to earn points by attending events and completing activities, you will see your progress bar and points value increase.
- Once you reach 100%, the achievement will then be recorded on your "Scorecard" within the Achievements section.
