What is something you found valuable about your CBA Advantage experience?

I found the CBA Advantage experience most valuable for gaining a deeper understanding of important topics that are impacting the business community. CBA Advantage highlights the importance of sustainability in the business world, and I found it fascinating to learn what companies in the real world are doing to transition into more sustainable business practices.

What advice do you have for students as they complete their CBA Advantage requirements?

My biggest piece of advice is to stay on track with your points throughout your time at LMU. CBA recommends attaining 500 points per year, and it's much easier to earn the points throughout your time at LMU rather than struggle to finish them at the end of your senior year. The on-campus CBA events are a great way to connect with the LMU community and make friends with people who are interested in the same things as you.

What was your favorite activity related to CBA Advantage?
My favorite activity related to CBA Advantage was the Study Abroad reflection. I studied abroad in London, England, and it was honestly one of the most incredible aspects of my college experience. After finishing my time in London, I had the chance to reflect on everything I learned abroad. From information in the classroom, cultural knowledge, and getting to experience new social environments, I had many things to reflect upon.

What activity in CBA Advantage would you recommend for students to consider completing?
I would recommend students focus on LinkedIn connection-related activities. LinkedIn is a fantastic platform, and it's very important to have a plethora of connections as you enter the workforce. I appreciate that CBA Advantage encourages you to reach milestones (250 connections and 500+ connections). This is a great way to connect with people in your desired industry and also attain points at the same time.
