CBA Advantage is a program, powered by the Suitable platform, that requires CBA majors to participate in business-related co-curricular experiences throughout their academic journey as a way to bridge their academic experience with applicability. The program is an e-Portfolio of their CBA experiences designed to use as a toolkit for future endeavors.
Requirements
- CBA Advantage is a graduation requirement and can be found noted within students’ Degree Works (degree audit).
- CBA Advantage is required for all CBA majors who entered in fall 2020 and beyond (we highly recommend that students confirm this by reviewing their Degree Works page).
- Students must earn a minimum of 2,000 points over the course of their undergraduate career in CBA (transfer students may be eligible for proration points).
- As outlined in the University Bulletin, the final deadline for students to complete the CBA Advantage point requirement is the Registrar's course withdrawal date for the semester in which they plan to graduate. Students can review the Academic Calendars here for that date.
- As a reminder, CBA Advantage submissions are governed by LMU Academic Honesty policies.

Suitable Platform
QR-Coded Events
These activities are introductory in nature and typically do not offer opportunity for reflection. These activities require students to scan a QR-code using their Suitable app and CBA Advantage points will be automatically awarded. Event hosts must coordinate with student engagement team to discuss this activity type.
Task Events/Activities
These activities allow for students to have an opportunity to reflect and articulate learning. This is the “default” type of activity for most events/activities and requires students to submit a reflection (written or video) onto Suitable. Clear guidelines on how to earn credit are noted within each activity posted within Suitable.
