Dr. Jason Ahn is Co-Founder and CEO of Vivanos Health, a start-up company aiming to reverse Type 2 Diabetes for high-risk populations. Prior to that, he served as the Chief Development Officer, California Market for the Equality Health Network, a leading value-based primary care group.

He is an emergency physician and practices at Northbay Health. Prior to that, he was an assistant clinical professor of Emergency Medicine at UCLA.

Dr. Ahn completed his training in Emergency Medicine at Harvard Affiliated Emergency Medicine Residency. After residency, he was a National Clinician Scholar at UCLA.

He earned a MD at Harvard Medical School and a MPA at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government and was a Zuckerman Fellow at the Center for Public Leadership.

During his medical training, Dr. Ahn directed and produced Divided Families, a documentary film chronicling the plight of American families of Korean descent who separated from their loved ones by the Korean War. Subsequently, through Divided Families USA, he helped pass resolutions in the US Congress that encouraged formal mechanisms of reunion.

Prior to his medical training, he was a Fulbright Scholar to South Korea. He was a Gilman Scholar when studying in Spain. He earned his double major in molecular cell biology and history with honors at the University of California, Berkeley.
