Mark Hattendorf

J. Mark Hattendorf is a senior business executive (Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Board of Director) with extensive operational and financial expertise. He has worked in various industries and arenas including technology, life sciences, entertainment and not-for-profit. Responsibilities have encompassed working with organizations transitioning through major changes such as acquisition, divestiture, fundraising (debt and equity) and joint ventures. He has participated in public offerings, regulatory filings and numerous corporate transactions including the sale of six of the companies listed below.

Mark’s public company experiences (as CFO or Senior VP of Finance) have been with recognizable companies including Broderbund Software, Acclaim Entertainment, Herbalife International, Inc. and 20th Century Fox Film Corp. His private company experiences (as CFO and/or COO) have included Neural Analytics, Inc., Sialix, Inc., EWI Holdings Inc. Questlink Technology, AllApartments.com, Prodigy (an online content service provider then owned by IBM and Sears) and Hydril Company.

Mark began his career as a certified public accountant with KPMG Peat Marwick in their Los Angeles office. In addition, to being licensed as a California CPA, he earned a B.S. in accounting and an MBA from Loyola Marymount University. Mark is a senior lecturer on entrepreneurial finance and global business at LMU College of Business Administration. He is also a private investor and has a business advisory practice.
