IBES is looking to hire enthusiastic, reliable students to assist with running of 2025 the International Business Ethics and Sustainability Case Competition. This year, 51 teams from 33 schools and 6 countries will participate online via Zoom Events and in-person on the LMU Westchester campus during the week of April 7-11.
We are seeking zoom navigators for April 7-8, and event assistants and photographers on April 9-11. Event assistants will help with greeting and checking-in teams and judges, behind-the-scenes set-up and organization, tallying of scores and making of certificates, and other tasks as needed when they come up during the events.
Photographers are needed to take team photos, dynamic presentation photos, as well as candid shots of teams interacting with each other and the judges.
Qualified candidates should be comfortable working a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for team workers who can work independently but have the initiative and good judgment to ask questions when needed.
As representatives of LMU, applicants should be professional and courteous, as well as comfortable answering questions and talking to a variety of different people. Attire is business casual. Students need not work all days nor the entire hours of the event (7:30am – 9pm), but should be able to commit to 3 hours shifts.
Event workers are expected to familiarize themselves with the event by reviewing our website (cba.lmu.edu/ibescc) and are required to attend an orientation and training before the competition begins.
Interested applicants should send their resume with an email cover letter explaining your interest in working this event to ibes@lmu.edu. Photographers should send a link to their portfolio.
