Ellis is a business savvy, mission-focused leader with over 15 years’ experience creating innovative programs to successfully deliver on social impact and revenue goals for companies and enterprise nonprofits. With his entrepreneurial spirit, Ellis excels in taking strategic initiatives from conception through “goto-market” strategy development to closing high profile, complex deals. His end-to-end project management skills and experience in both entrepreneurial and matrixed organizations enable him to successfully build cross-functional teams and develop strategic partnerships with diverse stakeholders. Ellis’ broad background also includes healthcare & technology experience, across a wide set of functions ranging from government affairs to corporate, affinity and industry partnerships to B2B2C program development. Ellis established AARP’s Hearing Care Program meeting the needs of 10 million members with hearing loss, drove exceptional financial performance for Nextel in a program that was highlighted in several of the public company’s annual reports, and established breakthrough e-commerce partnerships with Walmart.

Prior to starting his own firm serving as the Head of Strategic Partnerships for venture-backed specialty telehealth and private equity-owned pet health insurance clients, Ellis was Senior Vice President of Marketing, Communications, and Strategic Partnerships at SourceAmerica, an enterprise nonprofit overseeing procurement and contract management services for $2.5B in products and services for the federal government. Before SourceAmerica, Ellis was Vice President of Sales at ADT Health where he increased PERS sales by 43% in his first year by developing government sales, field sales, and national account channels. Ellis also has experience in senior leadership positions in marketing, business development, and sales operations with AARP and Nextel Communications. He holds an MBA, Marketing from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Psychology from the University of Maryland.
