Matt Pell fused his passions of politics and tech to build a new front page of your city, The Burg. The mission of the company is to solve why it’s absurdly difficult and incredibly boring to learn about your city, let alone vote in it. After winning the U.S. Conference of Mayors in 2017 and securing grants, The Burg was able to launch in LA County earlier this year and build a frictionless space for voters, news, and reps to thrive. Pell earned a B.A. in history from UCLA.
