Alex is a senior Biology major at Loyola Marymount University from Houston, Texas, with plans to pursue a career in healthcare. She is passionate about improving the well-being of others and believes that creating healthier communities requires looking beyond healthcare alone to factors such as education, resources, and access. At LMU, Alex is involved in student organizations and Greek life, including serving as Vice President of Administration for Delta Zeta.
She is also involved in undergraduate Biology research and volunteers in the Emergency Department at Cedars-Sinai Marina del Rey and with Camp Smiles, a program supporting children with cerebral palsy. Through these experiences, she has developed a strong interest in leadership, service, collaboration, and creating meaningful change within the communities she is part of.
As an SDG Student Ambassador, Alex hopes to help connect LMU students with the SDGs and encourage practical, intentional actions that can make a positive impact on campus and in the broader community. She is excited to learn from others, bring different perspectives together, and find new ways to turn ideas into action.
