Welcome to Loyola Marymount University
The 2024 competition will be held on Loyola Marymount University's Westchester campus and the Awards Banquet will be held at the Playa Vista campus. Given that parking is in high demand on the LMU campus, we recommend ridesharing whenever possible. We we advise drivers to allot at least 15 minutes to finding a parking space and walking to your destination.
Parking on the LMU Westchester campus costs $15 per day. Parking can be purchased at pay stations on campus (which may have long lines) or via the Parkmobile app using LMU's parking zone: 961. Parking and transportation for the Awards Banquet can be found below. below.
If you need assistance during the event, please call Chiray Koo on her cell phone at 213-268-0789.

The Welcome Dinner/Global Sustainability Summit takes place at the Roski Dining Hall in University Hall (1 LMU Drive), the first building on your right as you enter the LMU campus off of Lincoln Blvd.
Dinner opens at 5:20 pm (10 minutes earlier than the general LMU audience so that you have first shot at the food) and the event ends at 7:45. There will be an area for you to drop off your luggage if you come straight from the airport.
- Rideshare - ask to be dropped off in front of the University Hall flag poles. Enter the building, turn right and walk to the other end of the first floor. Roski will be on your right.
- Drivers - enter visitor parking using the parking entrance on your right. Park near an elevator bank if possible (there are 4) and take the elevator up to the first floor. Turn right and walk to the end of the first floor. Roski will be on your right.

The 25-minute Competition will be held in the Hilton Center for Business on the LMU Campus.
- Rideshare - ask to be dropped off at Leavey Circle (there will be signage directing you where to go). Head to your right and follow the signs to Hilton. You will pass through a complex of residence halls and pass Hannon library (a round building) on your left. After going down the stairs, Hilton is the next building on your left.
- Drivers - Please park in University Hall again (first building on your right after you enter campus) because parking is difficult to find on upper campus. Enter visitor parking using the first parking entrance on your right. Take the elevator up to the first floor and ride the escalators to the top floor. Turn left, exit the building and go straight (there will be signage directing you where to go). You will pass Leavey Circle on your right, go through a complex of residence halls, and pass Hannon library (a round building) on your left. After going down the stairs, Hilton is the next building on your left.

The 10-minute and 90-second Competitions will be held from 8 am to 12 pm at the Hilton Center for Business on the LMU Campus. Rideshare directions remain the same.
- Drivers - there is more parking available on upper campus on Friday. Park in Lot I, which is closer to Hilton. Take LMU Drive until it dead ends and turn left. You will pass a cross walk with Hilton on your left. You will see 2 more buildings and then Parking Lot I on your left (see map below).
The Awards Banquet will be held at LMU's Playa Vista Campus, 12105 E. Waterfront Drive, Suite 200. Doors will open at 4:30 pm for you to take group photos and socialize with other teams. Dinner will be served at 6 pm and the Awards Ceremony will begin at 7 pm.
We strongly recommend ridesharing because street parking is usually unavailable and the permit to park on the LMU Campus does not transfer to the Playa Vista, which charges $20 for parking.
- Rideshare - ask to be dropped off at the shuttle stop, which is at the corner of Waterfront and Lake (see map).
- Driving teams can take the LMU shuttle or park at the Playa Vista Campus:
- Shuttle: park at Lot I and walk to the shuttle stop behind the stage at Lawton Plaza (across from the Hilton building). The shuttle operates from 7 am to 11 pm and you can find the shuttle schedule here.
- Parking: the parking entrance is off of S. Lake Center Drive, around the corner from the shuttle stop (expand the map below, we dropped a pin at the parking entrance).
