Nicolas Salkin is a 4th year Physics and Mathematics major, with hopes of going into Theoretical Astrophysics. Ever since he learned about the idea of space, he knew that he was going to study something related to the great beyond. This led to getting a headstart on college by receiving an AA with his High School Diploma and then coming to LMU.
As this was happening, he started to learn more about climate change. Besides being horrified by its effects, he became interested in the science of climate change. Because of this, he is a big believer in climate action.
In addition, Nicolas is interested in higher education. As a Physics TA, he hopes to hone his academic communication skills, while also assisting in the education of others. For this and other contributions, he was awarded the Jeff Sanny award for contribution to the Loyola Marymount University's Physics department.
In his free time, he spends his time gaming and commiserating with friends.
