Design and Social Impact for the Global Community
Join LMU College of Fine Art Design professor Saeri Cho Dobson and the M-School's Matt Stefl for a 5-week adventure in Germany and Amsterdam where student teams will partner with local refugee population to co-create, prototype and bring to market cross-cultural consumer product ideas.
Utilizing a mix of classroom learning, fieldwork and partnership with world-class communications agencies, students will learn and apply the latest in design thinking methodology, consumer insight mining, disruption, brand storytelling and more.

Resume Workshop: Speed Dating Edition
With spring approaching, the hunt for internships and entry-level employment will soon be in full bloom. In preparation, we're arranging the first annual Creative Marketing Student Resume Workshop—Speed Dating Edition. Bring your stuff (resume, case studies, work samples, website, ?) and get quick and expert feedback from the people who've been there and do that on a regular basis. Plan to expose your at least your VERY BEST RESUME or two if you want a comparison (+ other materials)...and don't overlook crossing those t's and doting those i's. Plan to bring at least 5 color copies of whatever you plan to show (plus easy access to anything digital).
We're also lucky enough to have our industry friend Don Lupo who's going to set up a little headshot studio to snap some pro pics for LinkedIn (and/or website) if you so choose. So step it up in the appearance department for our guests and photos (nothing formal of course, unless that's how you roll).
