Andrew Chi is assistant director, business development for the Fred Kiesner Center for Entrepreneurship. Andrew manages and leads the various non-academic initiatives for the center, including the Family Business Entrepreneurship Program, Ascend LA, and future efforts involving external partners, alumni and entrepreneurs. Andrew is an experienced entrerpreneur and has held senior marketing positions at Nestle, Mattel, Westfield and ArcLight Cinemas. Andrew earned a B.A. in economics/business from UCLA and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.

In 2020, Andrew and a friend from business school launched their own brand, Salivation Snackfoods, with the goal of bringing to market the most delicious keto, gluten-free gourmet pastries. They created the brand, developed the product line, and established co-packer, distributor and retailer partnerships. Salivation Snackfoods pastries are sold DTC and on Amazon and can be found in upscale and natural foods retailers in SoCal and Chicago and in the kitchen pantries at all Netflix offices in Los Angeles.
