What Students Learn from Our M.S. in Taxation

A headshot of Marie Grillo

“I often surprise people when I tell them I'm in audit and not tax after earning an M.S. in Taxation, but many of the skills are transferable. I wasn't interested in learning more about the same topics covered during my undergraduate accounting degree, and I saw the value in gaining some extra tax knowledge to be used for taking the CPA exam. The program at LMU is very challenging, but it mimics the rigor and unpredictability of a career in public accounting."
