Student Awards

Each year, the Entrepreneurship program offers various awards to encourage and recognize our high-achieving students. 

Some of the awards in recent years have included:

Rising Stars Award

This award recognizes freshmen and sophomore Entrepreneurship students who have excelled in their courses and actively participated in co-curricular programs.

Entrepreneurial Star Award

This award is presented to upper-class Entrepreneurship students who have excelled in their courses, actively participated in co-curricular programs, and demonstrated a notable entrepreneurial achievement.

Entrepreneurship Student of the Year

Presented at the end of the school year, this award goes to the top graduating Entrepreneurship student(s) taking into account academic performance as well as entrepreneurial achievement while at LMU.

Undergraduate Entrepreneurship Top Academic Student of the Year

Celebrates the senior Entrepreneurship major with the highest GPA.

Diamond in the Rough

Originally started through a grant from the Coleman Foundation, this award helps identify, encourage, support, mentor, hone, polish and develop young entrepreneurs in their early years so that they fulfill their potential and destiny, and become outstanding undergraduate collegiate entrepreneurs.

Drollinger Family Entrepreneurial Award

Presented by the Howard Drollinger Family Foundation, this scholarship is presented to students who Entrepreneurship faculty feel are outstanding in achievement and future promise as entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurial Dream Box

As a motivation to our best students, we present them with our coveted Entrepreneur's Dream Box. This box honors their past achievements and encourages them to fill the box with mementos of future achievements. We also present this box to outstanding entrepreneurs, educators and leaders who are supporters of entrepreneurship education worldwide.
