Sophia An is pursuing a BBA in finance, with a minor in accounting at Loyola Marymount University. She has served as the Associated Students of LMU (ASLMU) chief financial officer for two years, a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) ambassador, and an LMU orientation leader. She has also worked as a student involvement specialist for the university’s Student Leadership & Development department. Over the summer, Sofia interned as an asset-backed finance analyst at Fifth Third Bank. Previously, she interned at Angel Oak Capital Advisors, LLC, a fixed-income investment manager, as a portfolio management summer analyst. Before that, she spent time at a wealth management and accounting firm. Sophia is also a Girls Who Invest (GWI) campus ambassador and looks forward to supporting other young women as they pursue careers within investment management. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in portfolio management. Originally from San Marino, California, Sofia enjoys going to concerts, cooking, and watching the Dodgers!
