Applications are now CLOSED for the Summer 2024 Remote Job Shadowing Program for finance students.
The goal of the program is to provide a professional experience for students with a new industry contact, a better sense of how work is done in the real world, and some new corporate lingo. Students who participated in past years found the program helped them better understand their finance courses, perform better in job interviews, and several were even hired by their mentors.
If you are selected, you will be partnered with a working finance professional who has volunteered to spend a considerable amount of time with you. Together, you will find mutually agreeable times to meet virtually to learn about the business model of firms in the industry, the financial tools and challenges in your partner’s job, and the keys to their career success. Expect to meet online with your mentor six times over the summer. Your time commitment may include some additional homework assigned by your mentor.
