Tuition and Fees

Tuition for the 2024–2025 academic year is $2,500 per unit. At 60 units, total tuition cost for the program is $150,000. University fees, textbooks, etc. are additional. Some meals will be provided during residentials; housing, airfare, and other travel costs associated with residentials are not included.

Up to $4,500 in travel costs related to conducting research and attending professional development events may be reimbursed by LMU, subject to pre-approval.

Students who need more than 3 years to complete their dissertation must register as a student and pay a fee of $3,000 for each additional semester until the successful defense of their dissertation.

Financial Aid

All need-based financial aid and most other aid awards at the Federal, State, and University level are determined in whole or in part by the information submitted in the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. You can submit your FAFSA and apply for financial aid prior to applying for admission to LMU. Our Financial Aid Office recommends applying for aid as soon as possible. Visit Financial Aid for financial aid application instructions and other important information regarding the types of aid you may receive.

Only United States citizens and eligible non-citizens are able to receive federal or state-funded types of financial aid. International students should visit Financial Aid for more information.

Each year, Financial Aid prepares a student expense budget defining estimated standard allowances for education costs for graduate and professional students. This Cost of Attendance budget is used to determine a student's financial aid eligibility for scholarships, grants, loans, and work awards. To view this information, please visit Financial Aid.

Departmental Scholarships

All DBA applicants who apply by the final deadline are automatically considered for all available scholarships; no special scholarship application is required. Scholarships are awarded based on the strength of the application, including previous academic record, test scores, and work experience. Domestic and international students may qualify.

Employer Tuition Assistance

Your employer may help support your education if it has a tuition assistance or educational reimbursement program. Levels of financial support and eligibility requirements for such programs vary.
