For more than 20 years, Accounting Professor Larry Kalbers has helped shape LMU College of Business Administration through visionary leadership and a deep commitment to ethics-centered business education. As associate dean, chair of the Department of Accounting, R. Chad Dreier Chair in Accounting Ethics, and inaugural director of the DBA program, he has had a lasting impact on students, faculty, and the college.
As Professor Kalbers retires in May 2026, we invite you to honor his legacy by supporting the Larry Kalbers Endowed Scholarship for Ethical Leadership, a permanent investment in students who reflect his values: integrity, intellectual rigor, and service to the common good.
This endowed scholarship will support undergraduate and graduate students, with priority given to those in Accounting and the DBA program. Recipients will demonstrate academic excellence, financial need, and a commitment to ethical leadership aligned with LMU’s Jesuit and Marymount mission.
A CBA Centennial Initiative
