Master of Science in Accounting GMAT/GRE Waiver Policy
GMAT/GRE waivers may be granted to Loyola Marymount University Master of Science in Accounting candidates who demonstrate quantitative competency and readiness for LMU’s rigorous M.S. in Accounting curriculum. A GMAT/GRE waiver does not guarantee admission into the program.
To be eligible for a GMAT/GRE waiver, applicants to the LMU M.S. in Accounting program must meet one of the following criteria:
- CPA designation
- Passed FAR and REG of the CPA exam
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an AACSB-accredited university in the United States with a GPA of 3.4 or higher
- LMU accounting major or minor
If you have questions about whether you qualify for a GMAT/GRE waiver, please contact Dr. Terry Wang, M.S. in Accounting program director.
Applicants who are required to submit GMAT or GRE scores should use the following codes:
- GMAT: MSX-XN-53
- GRE: 4403
GMAT scores of 550 or higher are generally considered competitive for admission to the LMU M.S. in Accounting program. You may use the GRE score comparison tool to convert GRE scores to a GMAT equivalent.
