Accounting Society


Mission: As one of the largest professional business clubs on campus, the LMU Accounting Society offers accounting majors professional development and career insights spanning public accounting, industry, government and education.  Members develop leadership and communications skills through weekly lunch meetings and interactive social events with professionals.  Additional events include an annual meet-the-firms night, career highlights from LMU alumni, networking events, career/résumé services, interview/recruiting help and a popular year-end banquet celebrating awards and scholarships.

Alpha Kappa Psi


Mission: Alpha Kappa Psi was founded in 1904 on the principles of promoting institutions of business education, developing future leaders and fostering appreciation for higher ideals in business. Today the fraternity has grown to become the oldest and largest professional business fraternity in the world. The men and women of AKPsi reflect the world’s diversity and are united by a common interest in business. Guided by five core values, Alpha Kappa Psi focuses on providing ethical leadership and professional development.

American Marketing Association (AMA)


Mission: The American Marketing Association (AMA) is the professional association for individuals and organizations who are leading the practice, teaching and development of marketing worldwide.  The AMA serves as a conduit to foster knowledge sharing, provide resources, education, career and professional development opportunities, and promote/support marketing practice and thought leadership.

Black Business Student Association (BBSA)


Mission: The purpose of the Black Business Student Association is to educate and promote professional excellence, not only within the African American community, but for any student, regardless of race or major. This association encourages members to develop their professionalism, including interview, networking, and resume skills, gives insights into selecting a career, and offers resources for them to pursue these careers. Through their success, the BBSA strives to build up our community.

Business Law Society


Mission: The Business Law Society educates students on how to pave a successful career path in business law.  The organization also demonstrates the significant role law plays in society.

Delta Sigma Pi


Mission: Delta Sigma Pi is America's foremost professional fraternity for men and women pursuing careers in business. Our four pillars of Professionalism, Brotherhood, Community Service and Scholarship form the foundation of our mission. Since its founding at Loyola Marymount University in 1959, the Delta Sigma Chapter has merited numerous awards including the highest honor of Chapter of Excellence, 2011 National Outstanding Scholastic Development, and other provincial and regional awards. Delta Sigma is also the home of the 2011 National Collegian of the Year, 2012 South Pacific Regional Collegian of the Year, and two participants of the National LeaderShape Institute for personal development and leadership.

Latino Business Student Association


Mission: The Latino Business Student Association (LBSA) is dedicated to the advancement of its members through professionalism in the business realm.  It provides speakers and mentors from different areas of the business world including accounting, entertainment, banking, career development, sports, etc.  We encourage our members to actively participate in professional activities such as the LBSA annual conference, ULS events, career fairs and internship opportunities in the greater Los Angeles area.
