  • Thomas White, Ph.D., Hilton Chair in Business Ethics, recently participated on a panel at the American Association for the Advancement of Science that discussed the Declaration of Rights for Cetaceans. It got significant international press coverage.   • Andy Rohm, Ph.D., professor of marketing, appeared on Fox 11 News Weekend on February 5, 2012 alongside USC marketing professor Ira Kalb for a segment on Super Bowl advertisements.   • Thomas White, Ph.D., Hilton Chair in Business Ethics, published an article for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) on January 16, 2012 titled "Whales are people too." In the article, White responds to the scientific evidence that capacities once thought to be unique to humans are also shared by whales and dolphins. Click here to access the article.

  • Ellen Ensher, Ph.D., professor of management and human resources, was featured in a USA Today article on December 14, 2011 titled "How to find the perfect mentor." In the article, Ensher offers tips on how to conduct a search for a mentor which can often lead to workplace success. Click here to access the article. 

  • David Choi, Ph.D., professor of entrepreneurship, was featured in the November 2011 issue of the California Financial Times. Choi participated in a Q&A with Editor-in-Chief Marvin Mills for his Beachside Chat column, which allows readers to gain unique personal insights from individuals who embody the spirit of California opportunity.   • George Dasaro, professor of accounting, wrote an article that published in the November 2011 issue of Practical Tax Strategies titled "Tax Planning Strategies for Estate and Gift Taxes." In the article, Dasaro discusses the various estate planning strategies that can be employed to reduce the impact of estate and gift taxes on the transfer of assets to future generations.
