Biography
George Hess is a management professor at Loyola Marymount University. He has a rich background in sales, research, and planning experience with the General Electric Company and the Xerox Corporation. Hess is active in several community service organizations. He is Director of WorkNet, which assists unemployed executives. He is also the co-founder of Global Business Incubation (GBI), a member of the California Business Incubator Network (CBIN), and a member of the American Southern California Education and Economic Development Council. He was Chairman of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles Religious Education Presidents Advisory Board. Hess was also President of the Religious Education Board at Our Lady Queen of Angeles Parish.

Research
Hess is interested in the enhancement and enrichment of programs of study in the CBA. His research and activities are focused on assessment of LMU programs, benchmarking what other AACSB institutions are doing, and development of the LMU Stewardship Institute, which will include a Virtual Internship Program and a Virtual Incubator Program for LMU students.
