Biography
Ross Bengel, an award-winning accounting faculty member, has been with the College of Business Administration since 1984. He teaches aspects of tax law, planning, and theory. Bengel spent several years in the Washington, DC, area where he worked as a tax manager and advisor as well as serving as a staff assistant for then Senator William B. Spong (D-Va.). He is a CPA and a member of the South Carolina Bar, the American Association of Attorney – CPAs and the International Documentary Association. Bengel also produced education and documentary films and is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma.

Bengel is interested in tax policy, small business taxation, family tax planning and like-kind exchanges.
