Dr. Charles Vance is a professor of management and human resources at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, where he teaches at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. He has been very active at LMU in designing and conducting customized training programs for managers, executives and other professionals. He has had considerable experience as a consultant in North and South America, Asia and Europe in training design, management development and coaching, and broader human resource and organization development applications.

Gerald has over 25 years of HR experience at major publishing and multimedia/entertainment organizations. He has provided guidance and leadership in the areas of staffing and employee relations, organization change and development and human resources capacity for both the private and non-profit sectors. His collaborative approach and facilitation skills have resulted in increased employee engagement, productivity and job satisfaction through team building, and leadership development.


Pamela Sklar

Pamela Sklar has had a long career as an HR director in the public and private sector, as well as a consultant, executive coach and instructor. She recently returned to Los Angeles from the Midwest where she taught at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business. She received her MBA from Pepperdine University. Pamela's background and experience includes expertise in employee/labor relations, harassment prevention, training, recruiting, staffing, organizational behavior, development and diversity. 


Mitch Rufca
Program Director, LM-UMatch

Mitch has over 15 years of recruiting experience. His experience has ranged from aerospace to engineering, with the last five years focused on legal and technical support to law firms and Fortune 500 companies. He enjoys learning how technology is constantly creating demand for new skills and employees. Originally from Geneva, IL, Mitch earned a sports marketing degree from Indiana University and an MBA from Pepperdine University. Mitch teaches classes on professional recruiting within LMU's College of Business Administration.
