Student Investment Fund
The Student Investment Fund provides undergraduate students with valuable hands-on experience gained through practical knowledge in researching, choosing, investing, monitoring and measuring the performance of stocks. Students apply the theories they learn in class to manage funds through investment and security analysis. As this type of knowledge and understanding is usually obtained through on-the-job training, participating students are rewarded by being immediately prepared to pursue financial careers following graduation.
There is a unique opportunity for LMU MBA students with an interest in finance. Each year, LMU participates in the Southern California ACG Cup Competition against other business schools in the Southern California region. This is a finance/investment banking case competition sponsored by the Association for Corporate Growth (the professional corporate growth, corporate development, and M&A association) and judged by investment banking, private equity, and other finance professionals in the region.
