Application

The applicant will submit four copies of the following:

• A two to four page proposal
• A two-page vita
• A list of publications
• Two letters of recommendation, one from the Department Chair or Dean and one from a professional peer at LMU

The application, copies and letters of recommendation should be sent to Fr. John P. Daly, S.J., Director, Center for Asian Business, MS 8383.

Terms of the Award

• A $5,000 grant will be given for each fellowship.
• The research should be completed during the summer.
• The recipient will be asked to acknowledge receipt of the award in any published work or forum. It is requested that copies of any work be given to the Center for Asian Business for its archives.
• Faculty receiving a grant are not eligible for other University sponsored grants.

Nov. 15: 2008 Announcement of Award
May 2009: 80% of grant funded
Sept. 30, 2009: Summer Research Report due
Oct. 2009: Final 20% of grant funded following approval of final report
